Where the Cottages Sit
 
A mixed media study of cottages on Wortham Ling.
 
Seen through a tangle of scrub and early growth, the cottages appear half-held within the landscape. At this time of year, the boundaries softe -the gardens and the ling begin to merge, and the line between cultivated and wild becomes less certain. 

Worked on Saunders Waterford paper, the piece builds through layers of drawing and colour.
 
It measures 27cm x 13 cm and is unframed.
