Earlier this year I discovered that a Great Crested Grebe was nesting just beyond my garden and so began her long days of sitting upon her watery nest. 
 
I started to make sketches of her each day, being careful not to disturb her, and this print is the result of watching and drawing her over a number of days.
 
This is a limited edition linocut print (of an edition on of 50) of the Great Crested Grebe, entitled , "The Gentle Sentinel".
 
Each is hand cut and printed with environmentally-friendly water-based ink on heavyweight quality, soft Fabriano paper. Each print may vary subtly  due of the pressure and amount of ink, so each one is a unique piece of art.
 
Each print is signed, numbered and dated by the artist.
 
The dimensions are 39cm by 30cm. 
 
Each will be backed on a board, wrapped in cellophane and then in archival tissue with ribbon. It will be securely posted by First Class mail within 48 hours of your order.
