Drawn from the winter hedgerows, this original linocut shows a blackbird poised among holly and ivy, sustained by the berries that carry birds through the colder months. It is both a celebration of resilience and a quiet observation of seasonal life.
 
Each print is hand cut and printed using environmentally friendly, water-based inks on soft, heavyweight paper. The subtle variations created through the pressure of the press ensure that every impression has its own individual character.
 
The photographs included offer a glimpse into the making process — from initial drawings through to carving and hand printing.
