Little Owl — Original Linoprint
 
This limited edition linoprint captures the distinctive presence of the Little Owl — small in stature yet full of character.
 
Often seen perched on telephone wires near my local nature reserve, these birds watch the world below with an intensity that far exceeds their size. Their alert gaze and unmistakable silhouette make them endlessly compelling subjects to draw.
 
Originally introduced to Britain in the nineteenth century, the Little Owl has since become a familiar and much-loved part of the rural landscape.
 
Each print is hand-carved and printed using environmentally friendly, water-based inks on soft Fabriano ivory paper. Subtle variations in pressure and ink ensure that every impression is slightly unique.
